No parent should lay awake fearing what a diagnosis means. Give today.

Meet Carolina and Alejandro

Sixteen years ago, Carolina lay awake terrified for her son's future due to his diagnosis. Today, that son, Alejandro, is attending Immune Deficiency Foundation events and learning to drive—feeling confident, supported, and never once made to feel invisible while growing up. That happened because supporters like you showed up each year. Read their story here.

The Immune Deficiency Foundation is there for the long haul.

A primary immunodeficiency diagnosis may not come with a roadmap, but the Immune Deficiency Foundation is there to support families like Carolina and Alejandro no matter what twists or turns come their way.

Discovering our organization is a turning point. No matter where someone is in their journey, we support the lives of individuals through our efforts in advocacy, research, resources, emotional support, events, and more.

What your support makes possible

Educational events where families can connect.

Families are not on this road alone. We offer supportive and educational events, such as the 2026 National Conference, where families can connect with each other and learn the latest updates on the condition.

Research that expands  understanding.

The Immune Deficiency Foundation is proud to fund four research projects totaling $200,000 through the 2025 Research Grant Program to better understand primary immunodeficiencies (PI).

Advocacy for the immunocompromised.

Advocacy is crucial to the mission to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by PI. Our robust advocacy program is focused on national, state, and local healthcare and public health policy issues relevant to the community.
